Five new micro-credentials created

Five new construction micro-credentials have been created in response to people across construction and infrastructure telling us that they need new and innovative ways to attract people into their workplaces. These provide learners with an opportunity to get a taste of the trades, without committing to a full apprenticeship. They cover a range of introductory construction, joinery, renovation, demolition, onsite assembly, interior lining, and exterior cladding skills.

All registered micro-credentials can be found on the NZQA website.

BCITO | Te Pūkenga developed the micro-credentials with TEC funding and Waihanga Ara Rau owns the micro-credentials. The micro-credentials are available for construction learners through BCITO | Te Pūkenga, whilst other industry providers can contact NZQA to use and provide the micro-credentials themselves.
