We’re excited to invite you to a series of webinars and workshops to learn about and provide feedback on the proposed Level 3 and Level 4 NZ Programmes for Plumbing, Drainlaying and Gasfitting (PDG).

The proposed Level 4 NZ Programmes are designed to be more flexible and allow apprentices to learn and be assessed either in the workplace, at a provider, online, or through a combination of all three methods. The intention of a blended delivery model is to allow learners and their employers to choose the best and most efficient learning and assessment format that suits them best, building on each individual learner’s own learning requirements and practical work experiences.

The PDG Technical Advisory Group (PDG TAG) has developed a draft programme framework. We’ll share this with you for feedback at the following webinars that you can register to attend online.

We will be running three online webinars and invite you to attend.

Tuesday, 24 January 2023, 12 noon – 1 pm

Tuesday, 31 January 2023, 9 am – 10 am

Thursday 2 February 2023, 4 pm – 5 pm

On 12 January, we’ll be meeting with the PDG Technical Advisory and Strategic Reference Groups, and we'll meet with Master Plumbers and all providers later in January or early February.
