Your feedback is crucial to the success of our development work. We would like to hear from you about the skills, knowledge, and attributes required to install, test, commission, and maintain solar water heating systems.
This proposed micro-credential is open for feedback until 27 June 2025.
Solar water heating systems are installed throughout Aotearoa, New Zealand, and, despite the recent surge in popularity of photovoltaic (PV) systems, solar water heating systems continue to be in use across the country.
This micro-credential will enable operators to demonstrate competence in installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining new and existing systems. We are in the final stages of development of the micro-credential and would appreciate your feedback.
Please review the proposed micro-credential summary document and then email us to give us your feedback. Your feedback will be considered by the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to inform any further changes as we develop this micro-credential.
