The Waihanga Ara Rau Workforce Development Council will be closing operations from 19 December, and disestablished from 31 December 2025. The Energy and Infrastructure Industry Skills Board; Construction and Specialist Trades Industry Skills Board; Electrotechnology and Information Technology Industry Skills Board will pick up its functions.

We are reviewing the New Zealand Diploma in Infrastructure Asset Management Level 6

This qualification is scheduled for the five-year review. It is for people in organisations who manage the infrastructure assets of asset owners in the public and private sectors.

We are seeking:

confirmation that the qualification is still fit for purpose
feedback on the following unit standards: Domain – Infrastructure Asset Management.

As part of this qualification review, we are taking the opportunity to explore developing asset management micro-credentials, which we have received enquiries and interest from industry for.
