Joinery Detailing

Qualification and skill standards development

We are in the final stage of development for the Level 5 Diploma and skill standards for joinery detailing.

Industry feedback is critical to ensure the qualification and skill standards are fit for purpose.

We would like your feedback on the following:

Qualification

  • Does the qualification strategic purpose statement accurately describe the purpose of the qualification, the target group of learners, and the scope of practice of a joinery detailer?
  • Do the graduate profile outcome bullet points accurately describe the skills and knowledge required by joinery detailers?
  • What skills and knowledge are missing from the graduate profile outcome bullet points?

Skill standards

  • Do the learning outcomes describe the skills required to meet the description in the purpose statement?
  • Will the assessment criteria make it easy for an assessor to judge if a learner is competent?
  • Does the indicative content cover the key learning topics for each assessment criteria?

View the draft Joinery Detailing documents and submit your feedback by 7 June 2024 to contribute to the development.
