On 8 November, we held our first ‘Inclusion In’ Leadership Rōpū Hui, bringing together people who are actively taking steps to improve support and opportunities for underserved communities in construction and infrastructure.

The objectives of this hui were to bring leaders together to share what they’re currently doing to progress inclusion, find areas to collaborate and form a group that will continue sharing and working together. The rōpū is now working together to build a stakeholder list, create a Terms of Reference, and establish a way to communicate, collaborate, and create sub-groups from within the rōpū to progress specific inclusion projects. Our next hui will be held in Tāmaki Makaurau on 12 March 2024, with an online hui following on 21 March.
