Proposed qualifications

We’re in the final stages of the development of the proposed Scaffolding qualifications and need your feedback!

We’re excited to share with you the proposed scaffolding qualifications, using new skill standards, that will better serve and meet the needs of the scaffolding workforce.

The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) have met to review

  • the New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding (General) (Level 3) [Ref: 3708] and
  • the New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding (Trade) (Level 4) [Ref: 3710]
  • and develop skill standards to meet the needs of industry.

Based on the Technical Advisory Group’s feedback, it was proposed to develop two Level 4 qualifications. These are now open for your feedback:

This final consultation period invites input from industry members and providers on the full qualification documents showing the mapping of skill standards and their respective credit values.
